Tomek is going to talk about how he and his company is successfully using AWS to run their applications (such as https://JBison.com/ or https://www.circulardms.com/ ). You will be able to find out what Amazon, next to the most commonly known EC2, has to offer developers to make the coding easier and the hosting cheaper. There will be lots of live coding (in Java of course!), because Tomek has a funny accent, which would be difficult to listen to ;-)

Bio:

Tomek is a CEO of the Polish company SoftwareMill which he has founded over 2 years ago with his friends. He used to work for JBoss, so he is very JBoss-brainwashed. Which he says is a good thing, because JBoss is the best… He is an agile freak/evangelizer and believes more in remote working than in office time-wasting. He is in South Africa for a short while invited by a company which SoftwareMill is partnering with, Tersos Consulting, to perform Application Architect duties for a Big Client. But don't ask him who it is, because then he'll have to kill you...
