Maltego and KITT - JUG Meetup Aug-2010 Report Back

We had  a phenomenal meetup on the 25th August 2010 where we had Geertjan from Sun/Oralce address us on the NetBeans Platform and then two presentation from companies using the platform in their products.

The first presentation was from Hermien Pellissier from Saab Systems Grintek on KITT, a framework developed for the South African National Defense force. It kind of reminded me of the 80s movie "Wargames", except it can't play tic-tac-toe so we are all doomed!

The second presentation was from  Chris Bohme from PinkMatter on about Maltego, a very scary application (yes its true, privacy is dead).

 A big thank you to Tetrad who sponsored all the drinks and food. haven't geeked out this much for a long time. It was good.
